Important: Permissions Required
Only staff members with the Director role have the necessary administrative authority to access the Organization Profile and manage the white-label configuration.
To customize the domain of your white-label software, you need to add a CNAME DNS entry. This step allows you to point a subdomain (like my.yourdomain.com) to our software, giving your users a seamless, branded experience.
A CNAME (Canonical Name) record is a type of DNS (Domain Name System) entry that maps an alias name to a true or canonical domain name. When you add a CNAME record, it helps redirect your chosen subdomain to the actual domain where your software is hosted. This way, your users can access your software from a branded subdomain instead of a generic domain.
Domain Name: You must own a domain where you can add DNS records.
DNS Management Access: You need login details to access the DNS management section of your domain registrar or hosting provider (usually found under "DNS Management" or "Advanced DNS").
Login to Your Domain Provider: Access the account where your domain is registered (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.).
Navigate to DNS Settings: Find the section labeled "DNS Management" or similar.
Add a New CNAME Record: Select the option to add a new record and choose CNAME from the record type options.
Fill in the Details:
Type: CNAME
Host / Subdomain: my (this will create my.yourdomain.com) or any other term you prefer.
TTL: Between 60 and 300 seconds.
Value / Target (Non-European Customers): custom.collegepipe.com (for U.S., North America, South America, Asia, etc.).
Value / Target (European Customers): custom.collegepipe.eu.
Save the Changes: Confirm the changes and save the new record. Note: It may take a few hours for the DNS changes to propagate globally.
Once your site is set up, Directors can customize the visual and communication aspects of the software. Navigate to My Organization > Profile > White-Label to access these settings.
Logo: Upload your organization's logo to replace the default logo on the login page.
Picture Title and Text: Add a custom title and descriptive text to the main image on the login page to convey your brand message right at the login point.
Background Picture: Upload a background image that represents your brand. Ensure the focus of the image is on the right side, as the image adapts to different screen sizes. This prevents important elements from being cropped out on smaller devices.
Top-Bar Logo: Replace the default top-left application logo with your own to maintain brand consistency.
Top-Bar BG-Color: Choose a background color (using Hex codes) that aligns with your brand's color palette.
Top-Bar Text-Color: Customize the text color to contrast perfectly with your chosen background.
Profile BG-Color & Text-Color: Adjust the profile background color and text color for your public profiles to maintain a professional and branded appearance when sharing athletes with coaches.
These configuration settings apply to generic, automated emails sent by the system to your athletes, such as "Password Forgotten" notifications.
Sender Name: Define the name displayed in the recipient's mail inbox to indicate who the email is from.
Email Signature: Add your company's email signature, which will be automatically appended to the bottom of these system emails.
Important: Automated Email Sender Address
Please note that generic system emails (like the "Password Forgotten" email) will be sent from an @collegepipe email address by default. To ensure these emails are sent directly from your own domain, you must successfully complete the Email Integration setup.
