Managers (or those with organizational oversight) have the highest level of access and control within College Pipe. This role is typically for individuals responsible for the overall administration and operational control of your agency's use of the platform.
Key Responsibilities and Access Levels:
Full Access: Managers have access to everything within the College Pipe platform. This includes all athletes and all settings.
Company-Wide Configuration:
Control and customize white-labeling features to brand athlete profiles and the platform according to your organization's identity.
Introduce and configure a budget field for athletes, including whether it is displayed publicly.
Integrate the company email address for sending communications.
Manage and customize task templates, including defining categories, tasks, descriptions, responsible persons, triggers, service packages, and language filters.
Set a preferred Single Sign-On (SSO) provider for the agency.
Control overall permissions and access settings for athletes (e.g., if athletes can control their mail, integrate their email, manage their university list, or access specific features like Profile, Find University, My University List, Recruiting Insights, Personal Fit, and Access to All Tasks).
Determine whether athlete, parent, or current coach contact details are displayed on the profile.
Customize the athlete's dashboard with custom links for scheduling calls or upgrades.
Athlete Management:
Add athletes to the system through manual entry, bulk upload, or API integration.
Adjust the entire athlete profile from one central place.
Communication Management:
Manage email outreach campaigns to coaches.
View and manage all sent and queued emails in the "Mail" section.
Task Management:
Assign tasks to specific user groups, including Recruiting Experts, Support Staff, or the Athlete.
The platform is designed to be scalable, enabling multiple people to collaborate effectively using the same processes and tasks.
Recruiting Experts are primarily focused on working directly with assigned athletes, guiding them through the recruitment process, and facilitating communication with college coaches.
Key Responsibilities and Access Levels:
Athlete-Specific Access: Recruiting Experts generally have access only to their assigned athletes and those athletes' settings.
No Company-Wide Configuration: They cannot configure or change company-wide features such as overall settings, white-labeling, or task templates.
Athlete Guidance and Support:
Guide athletes on how to contact college coaches effectively, often utilizing College Pipe's messaging system.
Assist athletes with various tasks, such as creating a realistic longlist of universities, evaluating college offers, preparing for the move to college, and registering for tests like the SAT and TOEFL.
Access athlete profiles.
Communication:
Can integrate their own email account with College Pipe to send emails directly.
Utilize message templates specifically designed for Recruiting Experts / Managers for various communication scenarios (e.g., initial outreach, presenting athletes, responding to coach interest).
Can share message templates with colleagues and athletes.
Task Management & Monitoring:
Can be assigned specific tasks.
Can see when an athlete has completed a task via their Dashboard in the Activity box and receive a notification in the top bar of College Pipe.
Athlete Search:
Can use powerful filtering options to find relevant athletes based on various criteria, including budget.
Support Staff members play a crucial role in assisting with the operational aspects of the recruiting process, often handling administrative tasks and supporting both Managers and Recruiting Experts.
Key Responsibilities and Access Levels:
Broad Athlete Access: Support Staff have access to all athletes within the system.
Limited Configuration and Communication:
They do not have access to company-wide settings.
They typically cannot contact coaches directly or change an athlete's university list.
Task Management & Monitoring:
Can be assigned specific tasks.
Can see when an athlete has completed a task via their Dashboard in the Activity box and receive a notification in the top bar of College Pipe.
