This guide walks you through using the "Find a University" section within an athlete's profile to build their specific list of potential schools,
Access the Athlete's "Find University" Section: Select the desired athlete (e.g., John Doe) and go to their profile. Navigate to their specific "Find University" section. This section is beneficial because the sport is pre-selected for the athlete, and you can see the "Personal Fit" score.
Explore Sorting Options: You can sort the universities displayed by "Personal Fit" (to see the best compatibility first) or by the "Last time the coach was searching for an athlete" (to find actively recruiting coaches).
Apply Filter Criteria: Use the various filters available on the side to narrow down the list of universities based on specific criteria relevant to your athlete's preferences and profile. Filters include:
Athletics Factors (e.g., Conference, Division, University's Athletic Level, National Ranking, Coaches Currently Looking).
University Factors (e.g., Region, State, Campus Setting, Type - Private/Public, Two-year/Four-year, Affiliation, Student Size).
Academic Factors (e.g., Academic Reputation, Available Majors, Graduate Programs).
Cost (e.g., In-state/Out-of-state cost before scholarships).
For a detailed breakdown of all available filters and how to use them, please see the extensive article: Navigating the "Find a University" Section
Select Universities: Once you have filtered the list, you can select individual universities by clicking on them. To select multiple or all universities on the current page (e.g., up to 50), use the selection option provided.
Add to Athlete's List: With the desired universities selected, click the "Add to List" button.
Confirm Athlete: Ensure the correct athlete's name (e.g., John Doe) is pre-selected in the confirmation step.
Add: Click "Add" to confirm and add the selected universities to the athlete's dedicated university list on their profile.
The universities will now appear on the athlete's university list, along with their Personal Fit score, providing a focused list of potential targets.
