In our system, athlete profiles have different statuses to help you manage their recruitment journey effectively. Below is a breakdown of each status and how it affects your athlete count and visibility.
Athletes marked as "Searching" are actively looking for college opportunities.
College coaches can view their profiles and contact them or their assigned recruiting expert.
These athletes count toward the active limit in your service package.
Their profiles appear in key sections, including Task Overview and My Organization > Athletes.
Committed athletes are no longer visible to college coaches, and coaches cannot contact them or their recruiting expert.
However, they still count toward your active athlete count and remain visible in most system views.
This is because, even after commitment, additional tasks often need to be completed before the athlete officially signs.
Make sure to mark your athletes as committed, as soon as they verbally commit to a school to comply with college recruiting regulations
Once an athlete has officially signed, you can change their status to "Signed."
Signed athletes no longer count toward your active athlete count.
Their profiles disappear from the main views in the system.
However, they can still log in, and their profile can be reactivated (by changing the status) if they decide to transfer or re-enter the recruiting process.
Make sure to change your athletes' recruiting status to Signed, once you finished your work with them.
Athletes are automatically set to "Invisible" when they are first added to the system.
An invisible athlete cannot log in, is not visible to coaches, and their profile is inactive.
This status does not count toward your active athlete limit.
The "Invisible" status is often used when an athlete temporarily pauses their recruiting process.
