In our system, athlete profiles have different statuses to help you manage their recruitment journey effectively. Keeping these statuses up-to-date ensures your dashboard remains organized and helps you track your athletes' progress through the recruiting pipeline.
Important:
Active Athlete Limits All athletes, regardless of their current recruiting status (Searching, Committed, Signed, In College, or Invisible), count toward the active number of total athletes in your service package. If you no longer want an athlete to count towards your active number of athletes, their account must be specifically deactivated.
Below is a breakdown of each recruiting status and how it affects visibility within the system:
Athletes marked as "Searching" are actively looking for college opportunities.
College coaches can view their profiles and contact them or their assigned recruiting expert.
Their profiles appear in key sections, including the Task Overview and My Organization > Athletes.
This status primarily refers to a verbal commitment. Make sure to mark your athletes as committed as soon as they verbally commit to a school to comply with college recruiting regulations.
Committed athletes are no longer visible to college coaches, and coaches cannot contact them or their recruiting expert.
They remain visible in most system views because additional tasks often need to be completed before the athlete officially signs.
The "Signed" status functions very similarly to "Committed," but it serves primarily as an internal success tracking tool for your organization.
It allows you to clearly differentiate between athletes who have only verbally committed and those who have officially signed their offer (such as a National Letter of Intent).
Make sure to change your athletes' recruiting status to Signed once you have finished your work with them.
This new status allows you to categorize athletes who have completed their high school recruiting journey, transitioned to the next level, and are currently enrolled and participating in collegiate athletics.
