Add your first Athletes
College Pipe offers three options for adding athletes:
Manual Entry:
Go to the "Athletes" section on the website.
Click the "Add Athlete" button.
Fill out the athlete's information, including their name, contact details, and any relevant sports or performance data.
Ensure all the details are accurate and complete.
Click "Save" to add the athlete to your College Pipe account.
Make sure to create a password for your athletes, change their recruiting status from invisible to searching, and share their login details with them, once the athlete has been added to the system
Bulk Upload:
We will send you a Google Sheet to fill out, so that we can upload the athletes into our database. Please make sure to stick to the predefined formatting of the different cells within the google sheet. Alternatively, the import won't work.
Athlete Sign-up Form
We can create a dedicated sign-up form connected directly to your College Pipe account. This allows athletes to register on their own.
How it works:
Once the form is set up, athletes can fill it out and sign up.
When an athlete signs up:
Their account is automatically created with your company's default settings and tasks.
The athlete (the user) receives an email with their login details.
You (the company) receive an email notification with the athlete's sign-up details.
Important Notes:
- Unique Email Required: The athlete's email address is the unique identifier. If an athlete tries to sign up with an email that already exists in the College Pipe system, the webhook will fail, and their account will not be created.
- Testing: When you test the registration form, make sure to use an email address that is not already in the system.
